Weltrade has been in business since 2006; it was formerly called SystemForex. The company is an offshore broker that offers trading of various currency pairs, CFDs, in addition to precious metals. Traders can trade via the MetaTrader 4 platform. Weltrade operates in over 18 countries across the world with offices in Thailand, Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine.
Weltrade is a brand owned by Systemgates Capital Ltd. The company holds the license for financial trading and its commodity derivatives as well as securities issued by the International Financial Services Commission or IFSC in Belize.
Interestingly Belize is a popular destination for many financial services provides. The big reason being that the jurisdiction is famous for having comparatively lenient licensing requirements. As a matter of fact, many forex brokers choose to set up shop in Belize owing to the ease of doing business.
The rules are a lot less strict and softer requirements means that brokers can offer many flexible options to traders as opposed to if they were registered in the United Kingdom or America. The IFC interestingly relies on Forex brokers’ self-regulation.

It is important to note that starting from the beginning of 2016 Belize has taken a number of steps to tighten their regulation. For starters, the IFSC increased the required minimum capital requirement for binary options brokers offering commodity based and financial derivatives from a mere $100,000 to $500,000.
Also, the IFSC raised the annual license fee from just $5000 to $25000. If anything the regulation offered in Belize is far better than that of St. Vincent and the Grenadines where all brokers need to do is to fill out a simple registration form.
Plus, they are not required to comply with any financial requirements in regards to a minimum capital or having a segregated account for traders’ funds. That said the regulatory oversight provided by IFSC is still not as good or perhaps strict as that by the UK or US watchdogs.
Traders that intend to invest a great deal of money would be advised to choose a forex or commodities broker that’s licensed in the US, UK or Cyprus. Strict regulation and a good compensation scheme ensure that your investment is protected in the event the broker is insolvent.
Minimum Deposit
Traders will need to deposit at least $25 into their account, which is a comparatively low initial amount and something that even a newbie trader can afford. Now compare that with a similar company named ForexBrokerInc which is also licensed in Belize but requires a $100 minimum deposit, and also LiteForex which just requires $10.
Commissions Charges and Spreads
Weltrade offers both variable and fixed spread options on all of their account types. The only one exempted is the ZuluTrade account since it is commission free. The fixed spreads offered by the company is around 2 pips on the EUR/USD currency pair with tight floating spreads at approximately 0.5 pips on the EUR/USD pair.
These spreads can be considered an industry average. Though compared with ForexBrokerInc which provides a 0.7 pip spread with a +1 pip of commission they are cheaper.
Maximum leverage offered
Weltrade offers a maximum leverage of around 1:1000. Now compared with ForexBrokerInc which provides a 1:500 they are 50x higher. However, it is important to note that with a higher leverage comes a greater magnitude of financial loss in the event of a losing trade. So, it’s important to use leverage wisely.
The possibility of a magnifying loss is the reason why many jurisdictions have a limitation of the average spreads offered. For instance in America the max spread is 1:50, and Japan has set it to 1:25. This is done to ensure that traders don’t suddenly end bankrupted by one wrong decision.
Types of Trading Accounts
Weltrade currently offers three types of accounts the first is their Micro account, followed by the Premium and then the Pro account. All the accounts are commission free and offer up to a 1:500 leverage, which applies to micro lots as well.
The broker has partnered with another company called Zulutrade which is one of the oldest and immensely popular social trading services. The partnership allows clients to opt into following signals sent by professionals to automatically control trading via their accounts.
The Trading Platform
Weltrade has ensured that everyone can trade via the service by incorporating the immensely popular MetaTrader 4 (MT4) platform. The MT4 platform is the go-to one for most experienced traders and is easy to learn for newbie traders.

The platform has just about everything to offer that a trader will need including advanced charting features, technical indicators, support for Expert Advisors and a huge number of EA backtesting features.
Traders have the ability to download trading strategies or they can create their own automated one after which the program will just run on its own. You can also use a VPS service which allows clients to execute trades 24 hours a day and 5 days a week even when their computers are not on.
WelTrade clients who want to use auto trading features but don’t want to use ZuluTrade can use MT4’s trading signals. They can also copy signals from other successful traders.
The other feature worth noting about Weltrade is the fact that they offer MetaTrader 4 MultiTerminal support. It is an excellent platform for traders who need to manage the portfolio of clients. It makes working on multiple accounts simultaneously easier.

Promotions and Bonuses
Weltrade offers a few promotions and bonuses which they may change from time to time. Currently they offer:
- A 100% welcome bonus on a deposit of over 200 EUR or USD
- A free iPhone 6S meant for clients who deposit at least $5000 and then trade 450 lots.
Payment Methods Accepted

The broker does not levy a charge on the deposits made by traders.
