Profit Booster App

The Profit Booster App robot was created by Sam McMillan, Alfred Kowalski and Peter George Allen, with Sam and Alfred being ex-engineers from Google and Facebook while Peter is apparently the marketing guy. Peter is the one allegedly narrating their 11-minute promotional video.

According to the video, which starts out by first explaining how most binary options robots are scams, the three of them got together and created the Profit Booster App which uses automated trend analysis to take advantage of human herd behavior to predict market movements and then automatically trade on it, giving them the advantage over manual traders. They emphasize that the software is completely free, and also mention at the end how many binary options brokers linked to robots are unregulated and unethical. They go on to cite common behaviors such as bonus conditions and withdrawal restrictions, which anyone familiar with the binary options broking industry knows is correct.

What is Profit Booster App Robot?

We have to give it to them; the people behind the Profit Booster App robot sure do know how to sell a convincing story. And by people, of course, we really mean scammers. Hate to break it to you, but the Profit Booster App is just another scam.

How can you tell? Simple, just look at the amounts of returns they promise; $1,419 in under 1 hour?? Not on your life, and certainly not on a $250 minimum deposit. If you want to be making over $20,000 a day you better be trading in amounts of hundreds of thousands!

And besides, a quick look at the ‘Disclaimer’ section on their website will soon show that despite all their promises and guarantees, they actually don’t guarantee anything at all.

And while their promotional video looks slickly produced, in reality, all the video images are nothing but stolen clips from other advertisements. We do admit that they spliced it together very well, however. Nevertheless, the budget for this is clearly very low and all they did was some good video editing with a nice voiceover. Overall, a low budget scam and this can be seen by their use of stock photos for some lame testimonials.

From a psychology side, the way some of these scam robots go about trying to convince customers that they are not a scam is by first mentioning how many scams there are out there in the first place. By doing that they believe they can set themselves apart from the crowd by acting as some sort of cautionary advisor. Of course, they themselves are no better.

How Does It Work?

Basically, all these scam robots generate money for the owners via affiliate commissions from their partner broker. Essentially, these robots are nothing but affiliate marketing vehicles to promote said broker. That’s why they’re always free and always tell you how you don’t need to take our your credit card etc. but you do have to take out your credit card to fund your trading account and that’s when the broker will cut them a nice affiliate commission check.

In most cases, the brokers they partner with are unregulated and also unethical. On this point, the video was most definitely telling the truth. Profit Booster App is partnered with Opteck, which is actually CySEC regulated and in truth, one of the better binary options brokers out there. So the people behind the Profit Booster App are not as shady as some of the other scammers running all the other scam robots out there.

Nevertheless, if you do sign up with the Profit Booster App, don’t expect any fantastic results – it’s just a promotion tool for Opteck. The robot itself is likely just a generic auto-trading software; it may or may not make you money.

Final Conclusion: is Profit Booster App a scam?

The Profit Booster App is just a marketing tool for Opteck, which is a regulated broker. Don’t expect any fantastic results with this robot; you’re better off just signing up with Opteck directly while actually studying and learning how to actually trade binary options. Better to give this one a miss.
